Dear Alabu: I've been a customer of Alabu since 2005, and honestly I can't even begin to describe how THANKFUL I am to have found your Company! Your products are incomparable, and your customer service is indescribable! I have to admit, I ran out of your soap on Thursday of last week, and, out of desperation, purchased a bar of soap from my local health food store. My son broke out in a rash...so, I placed an order from Alabu late Friday afternoon...and, was stunned when the Mail person walked in with it today (it's MONDAY)!! Almost everyone suffers from dry skin and it?s scaling, itching and cracking in the cold winter months. Common causes of winter dry skin are the cold dry air outside and heated air inside cause low humidity. Forced-air furnaces make skin even drier. Skin loses moisture and may crack and peel, or become irritated and inflamed. Bathing too frequently, especially with harsh soaps, may contribute to dry skin. We also have a tendency to take longer hotter showers in the winter months.

To help you care for your winter dry skin we have put together our Winter Dry Skincare collection.

Baby Me soap - Originally formulated as a baby soap, but popular with everyone who has very dry skin. It is an extra special handmade soap for anyone with extra sensitive skin. Made with buttermilk, olive oil, soybean oil, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and castor oil and sodium hydroxide.

Baby Face Oil - Alabu Baby Face moisturizing oil is 1oz. of 100% Squalane oil. Baby Face oil is a colorless, odorless, liquid oil that simply imparts many wonderful nutrients and emollients to your skin. It is quickly and easily absorbed deep into the skin and is ideal facial moisturizer. Squalane (a naturally occurring substance found in the Olive) is very similar to Vitamin A and resembles the skins own natural oil. It is naturally present in the human skin but the amount declines as we age. It is thought that a deficiency of Squalane can result in dry skin and premature aging resulting in wrinkles and fine lines. It is said to help keep the skin supple and moisturized and to form a protective coat against fungi and bacteria on the skin. Squalane boosts the skin's ability to naturally regenerate, nourish, hydrate, oxygenate and protect itself. 1 ounce packaged in a handy pump spray bottle that can travel with you.

Shea Butter lotion stick is moisturizing oils in a handy roll up container that is small enough to fit in a purse. It is concentrated in that it has no water added, you don?t need to apply as much or as often as traditional lotions so it lasts a long time. It is a heavier moisturizer than the Baby Face oil. It is made with Olive oil, Shea Butter, Emu Oil, Beeswax, Jojoba oil, Castor oil and Vitamin E.

Stress Relief Bath Blasts ?a great moisturizer for your bath. Relaxing, fragrant powder that fizzes when placed in your bath water. They are a great way to soak your winter blues away and moisturize at the same time. Scented with Stress Relief fragrance. A bit of heaven right in your tub!
