Soap Ingredients - Our natural soap ingredients consist of food grade vegetable oils; Olive, soybean, Coconut, Cocoa butter, and Castor oil are used as extra moisturizing soap ingredients. We do not use any dyes or coloring. Only high quality scented oils made for soap are used in soaps that have added fragrances. Soap Ingredients

We use a "cold" process method to handcraft our soaps in small batches. Goat milk is rich in proteins, vitamins, and minerals and very nourishing to our skin. It moisturizes, and softens your skin naturally.

Our natural soaps are made with pasteurized Goat milk, saponified olive oil, coconut oil, soybean oils, castor oil, and cocoa butter. This combination of ingredients results in a cleansing, mild natural soap.

Because it is difficult to make soap with goat milk, it is usually made with water as a base with only a small amount of milk being at the end of the process. Goat milk is listed first in Alabu Soap because we use more of it than any other single ingredient. Each 3.25oz. Alabu bar contains more than one ounce of pure goat's milk, no water used.

Contains no added water, only pure pasteurized natural goat's milk in every bar.

Contains no lard or tallow, only pure food-grade vegetable oils. (Note: Tea Tree bar has Emu oil for problem skin).

Contains high quality Fragrance or Essential oils made for soap.

Milk has been used as a cleanser and beauty aid for centuries. However, goat milk has special qualities, some, that are still not fully understood. By adding goat milk to our soap we lower its pH which helps to maintain the natural pH mantel of your skin.

We use Shea Butter (Shea Nut Butter)to make lotion sticks and bath blasts. Shea butter, also called African Karite Butter, is smooth, creamy and white. It is extremely moisturizing and gentle to the skin. Shea Nut Butter is also used in baby products because it is so mild. It helps create a rich, non-greasy emollient/moisturizer that penetrates quickly into the skin and acts as a natural barrier against dehydration, which is the major cause of wrinkles.

The common theme of our moisturizing oil products is the special hydrating qualities they have to help restore a youthful look to dehydrated skin (face & body).
