Back-To-School Sale
We can hardly believe this Summer is half over. It really has been going fast for us. The weather is still hot and rainy. We are having mixed success with our plants this summer. All the rain has killed most of the petunias, but the hydrangea have been beautiful. Two years ago we planted endless summer hydrangea, and we have been very happy with them. Last year we planted a clematis I bought while visiting my dad. It died back at the end of the summer, but has come back very nicely for it's second year.
Our son has been attending a local community college for the past two years. In just a few short weeks our he leaves to begin his Junior year at Bryan College in Dayton, TN. I guess that will make us empty-nesters. As we were talking about packing for college, the question of what soap to bring came up. Well, we figured it out, and now we are sharing it with you. Check out our "Back to School" pack. Enjoy!

International Sales
Back in 1998 when we did our home-school chemistry project, we never dreamed that Alabu products would be purchased around the world. It is a lot of fun for us to get to know people all across the globe. We welcome our exclusive Netherlands distributor “Bag It”, and say a big hi to our friends at the Irish Raynaud's & Scleroderma Society. We were recently included in Relax magazine in Japan. Visit Alabu Locations to see a list of the countries we currently are shipping to.

We are also pleased to welcome our newest distributors "To Life" and "Natural Foods Market".
To Life is a local Breast Cancer support program founded in 1998 for the purpose of educating the community about breast cancer detection, treatments, and related health matters. They started carrying Alabu products in their Boutique as a natural alternative for their clients. To learn more visit www.tolife.org .
Natural Foods Market is a natural food store located in Midland, TX. They have been in business for over seven years. They enjoy meeting their

Boys from Sweden
We are also saying goodbye to our new friends Tobias and Rickard. We have been their host family for the past month, and they will be leaving soon to go back home to Sweden. Our church has ties to a church in Sweden and we often exchange teens for summer vacation. It has been fun having them here and we hope they can come back again.

Dandelion Soap Sale
We have made this wonderful soap in the past as a seasonal item. It is made with oil tha has been infused with dandelion flowers (from our own back yard) for added Vitamin A & D. It is a wonderful facial soap. In the last batch, I forgot to subtract the infused oil from my formulation so it is soft but very moisturizing. My mistake - you get a special price of $2.00 a bar.
