We wish all of our Alabu family a safe and happy New Year. We have been very busy but we were able to take some time and enjoy our family and friends and hope you have too. We still have not had any snow that stays but we have had some beautiful sunrises. We have been keeping an eye on our goat Allie and it does appear as if she is bred and we are expecting kids in mid April. It was entirely too quiet here and so we decided we had been without a dog long enough. We are introducing our new puppy Chia. Our son thinks her name is awful but she has already stolen our hearts.

We have had many requests to have a soap of the month sale, giving folks an opportunity to try a featured soap at a reduced price. This month we are featuring Winter Wonderland at $3.45.
New Soap Coming
Next month we will be announcing a new soap. We have had it out to some of our family and friends for testing and are getting rave reviews on it. Look for it next month.
Clearance Sale
January Clearance Soap Sale. We are still working on making room on our shelves by discontinuing some of our less popular soaps. This month we have decided to discontinue our Apple Spice scent. We are truly sorry if we are discontinuing your favorite scent, but as we develop new products, we need to make room for them. The good news is at least you can stock up now at a discount price. We will be making some fragrances available on a seasonal basis.
Cold Relief Blasts
Last winter we introduced Cold Relief Blasts. Our customers who have tried them rave about them, so we thought we might give them away as a gift to orders over $50.00 to introduce people to them this cold season. They are a powder you can use in your bath, or in a basin of hot steamy water. They have a blend of essential oils noted to help clear congestion and just make you feel better.

Seconds
We still have some seconds and have added more to our seconds sale. We have increased production on our most popular soaps, and now have a limited supply of seconds which we are going to offer on our web page while supplies last. Our soap seconds are the same as our regular soap, but are made by taking the ends from the soap log and molding them to form a regular size bar. The only difference is that they do not look as pretty. We wrap seconds with a tissue paper band around the middle and seal it with our label. They are about the same weight and size as regular bars. The price will be $3.00 a bar, a substantial savings from our regular bath bars.
Alabu Farm
Here are some pictures from a walk around our property. Tiger our 10 year old cat, weighs in at 19 pounds, but that doesn't stop him from tagging along with us. We sometimes worry about him but he won't stay home.

The volume discount is applied after the coupon is applied. For example, if you place an order for $115.00 you would receive 10% off of the $115 ($11.50) and the volume discount is applied to the remaining amount. In this case, 10% of of the remaining $103.50 ($10.35).
