Autumn is in full glory here in the Northeast. The weather has been brisk and sunny. The leaves are past their peak color and are now falling everywhere. Our daughter and her fiancé came to visit from Maine for a weekend and our son surprised us by coming home from college in Tennessee for Fall break. It was so nice to have the family together for a weekend. We visited a corn maze and an apple orchard for fresh apples and cider and we even baked a few pies. Life is good!

Soap of the Month
We have had many requests to have a soap of the month sale, giving folks an opportunity to try a featured soap at a reduced price. This month we are featuring Maggie's Christmas ($3.45). It is offered as a seasonal soap and when it is gone it's gone till next fall. It is named in honor of my little sister, who was so persuasive as to why we should not discontinue Bayberry, I decided to keep it and rename it in her honor. It made sense because she and her husband Jimmy are my hero's anyway.

Guest Bar Sale
We are in the process of changing our guest bar shape to accommodate our new labels. The new guest bars will be 2 inch rounds. We have quite a few oval guest bars in stock that we are offering at a 25% discount. Stock up now for Christmas as these will make great stocking stuffers.

Cold Relief Blasts
Last winter we introduced Cold Relief Blasts. Our customers who have tried them rave about them, so we thought we might give them away as a gift to orders over $50.00 to introduce people to them this cold season. They are a powder you can use in your bath, or in a basin of hot steamy water. They have a blend of essential oils noted to help clear congestion and just make you feel better.

November Clearance Soap Sale
We are still working on making room on our shelves by discontinuing some of our less popular soaps. This month we have decided to discontinue our Sweetgrass scent. We are truly sorry if we are discontinuing your favorite scent, but we have been trying to drop some of our slow sellers for years. The good news is at least you can stock up now at a discount price

Seconds
We still have some seconds and have added more to our seconds sale . We have increased production on our most popular soaps, and now have a limited supply of seconds which we are going to offer on our web page while supplies last. Our soap seconds are the same as our regular soap, but are made by taking the ends from the soap log and molding them to form a regular size bar. The only difference is that they do not look as pretty. We wrap seconds with a tissue paper band around the middle and seal it with our label. They are about the same weight and size as regular bars. The price will be $3.00 a bar, a substantial savings from our regular bath bars.
